Grain Valley School Community,

We are pleased to report that our bond issue passed with a 71.17% “yes” vote in yesterday’s election!

We appreciate the support of our community as we work to reimagine Matthews Elementary, increase extracurricular opportunities for middle school students with a new track and field, improve security at our schools, and make important updates at Sni-A-Bar Elementary.

Project bids and excavation work at North Middle School will begin right away. Crews will begin to section off construction and staging areas in the next few weeks. 

Much of the new construction will occur throughout the upcoming school year, with renovations occurring in the summer of 2027. The projected completion of all these projects is August 2027.

We will update you on our progress along the way.
