Grain Valley Schools Photo of the Week
8th grade students in FACS at South Middle School are learning how to safely operate a sewing machine while creating one of two items: a keychain wristlet, or a dog bandana. Once complete, the goal is to give dog bandana's to therapy dogs throughout the district!
There will be no school Friday, April 3rd and Monday, April 6th due to Easter Break. There will be no school for students on Tuesday, April 7th due to a teacher learning day. View the district calendar.

| Register Today for Summer SOAR |

Reminder: Summer SOAR Registration is open! Summer SOAR will take place from June 1 to June 26, 2026 and there will be no school on June 19th in celebration of Juneteenth. Students will have the option of bringing their own lunch or eating a school lunch.
Summer school will be held at Prairie Branch Elementary, Stony Point Elementary, and South Middle School for both middle school and high school students.
Hours:
• Elementary (entering Kindergarten - 5th grade): 8:00 am to 2:55 pm
• Middle School (entering 6th grade to 8th grade): 7:30 am to 2:15 pm
• High School (entering 9th grade to 12th grade): 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
Summer school classes are first come, first serve, and all students who register after May 3rd will be put on a waitlist.
